On this video song, everything even small objects was made from boxes. They want to make natural sounds, and they bought these different instruments from a shop where all instruments are made from wasted products. The guitar can make two different sounds while opening and closing its lid. The producer of the video Sean Wainsteim wants this clip’s stuff’s to be handmade. He says that he loves making different things by his hands since his childhood and he is capable of course. Before making this video he needed to think every detail, so he made a design of it, and he called a lot of people who are capable of making those sorts of things. After collecting some people they began to making stuffs. This making process took 6 days as the producer said.

They have different colors t-shirts, which means each of them different from the other. Their mimics are so cool in my opinion. They generally do not look one another frequently. They are really focused on their songs.

I really love their different style. They always make original video clips. Also they are very successful in covering songs. I think this ability which is to be original will provide them advantage, and I hope they will take much more people’s attention one day in the future.

David Thibault is a French Canadian singer. He attracted people’s attention as a 16 year-old boy in December 2013 when he performed Elvis Presley’s ‘Blue Christmas’ song on a radio station. After this recording, his video was published on the youtube, and just in a week his video took nine million views.  Also Ellen Degeneres invited him to her studio on 23 December. Therefore he began to be recognized.

His video also provides him some advantages. For example, he won a v.i.p ticket for Elvis' museum house in Graceland. On the celebration of Elvis’ 79th birthday party which was held by his fans, David honored to cut the birthday cake. He said that if Elvis was here he would have proud of David.

He explains that his love to Elvis is a heritage which comes from his grandfather. Since his voice is so strong as Elvis’, he is known as the voice of Elvis. He proved this by his songs, too.

I think this boy should be famous due to his voice in his age. In my opininon in a few months production companies will hear about David and they will want to record an album with him. Therefore he will be the future's Elvis in our century.

             THE PERSON OF THE YEAR

Here I am as a jury member, and I am asked to choose a person who is the person of the year. My choice is Johnny Depp, and I have very strong reason behind my choice. Firstly, he is the person who has the most fans in the world. He also has been nominated for top awards many times, winning the Best Actor Awards.He is a charitable person. He donated 2 million dollars to the hospital where his daughter was treated.

I want to share his early times with you. When he was 15 he set a music group and quitted the school. He met the sister of his group’s vocalist Lori Anne Allison, and he married with her. She was the make-up artist of the Hollywood films’ actor. She introduced Johnny with Nicolas Cage. He said Johnny that he had very nice face, he should take a role in films. He took a role since he just wanted to pay his bills. This is the first step of his career. Then he began to show up in films. 


After playing a TV series, he became very popular among the young girls, every magazine journal had his photos on. He was annoyed to be in the limelight, so he wanted to be play weird characters in movies. After meeting Tim Burton he began to take role in weird characters. The other producers criticized his weird character. However his success in Pirates of the Caribbean misled them. Now he is the most gaining actor in Hollywood.

        ADDICTION OF TECHNOLOGY

Due to developing technology we have many different devices which make our lives easy.  We can reach every information swiftly. We can chat someone who is miles away from us. On 

the other hand using technology in every part of our lives may make us addicted to technology. We do not aware of the effect of this addiction since it is common in today’s world. It can affect us both physically and mentally.  Actually there are some signs if we wonder whether we are addicted or not. For example thinking internet every time, as soon as coming home without speaking to anyone starting computer, eating little but surfing internet much. These are few signs of this addiction. Technology addiction can have several negative effects on a teen as well, for example, it might pull a teen away from social engagement. A teen who uses technology much or uses technology to cope with problems might refuse to engage in family activities in favor of using the newest gadget or phone application. Also addiction can affect a teen’s work and academic performance.

Moreover, there are some physical consequences such as pain in the neck, sluggishness in the hand, insomnia… However, enjoying technology frequently does not necessarily mean your teen is addicted to technology. According to Kimberly Young, less than 5 percent of teens suffer from a technology addiction. 

We should aware of how and why we use internet. If we use our devices consciously we will away from the addiction of technology.

Hi, everyone...

I'm Sümeyye. I'm a freshman in Middle East Technical University. I'm a student of English Language Teaching. I'm not so happy in Ankara since I always want to be in Istanbul. However I'm getting used to be here. I think you don't know much about my life. What I want to share with you are my personality and my experiences so far. Firstly, I'm a scorpion, so I can feel every emotion at the same time. My feelings are so deep that I can easily be happy or I can be angry, I can feel depressed and so on... I'm really keen on learning new information and I'm very curious about interesting things especially about technology. I love watching movies. I love solving crossword, rubik cube, also making origami.. These sort of things are my hobies as well.

 I have been Germany and Italy so far. Seeing different countries is really exciting experience for me. We had done variety of activities there. I have many friends from these countries.
